Our class had a great opportunity to have the author of the award winning book “Word Nerd” speak to us today at school.  Susin Lielsen had a very interactive presentation to the students and her experience and knowledge was very informative.  Susin also read aloud to the class and selected students also had fun acting out the scene as well.

Thanks to Mrs. Longthorne for organizing this visit for all the Grade 6′s and 7′s.  These visits surely do peak the interest of students about the importance, and benefits, of reading and writing.  It was great to see so many students get her autograph as well.

Thanks
